VAT (Indirect Tax) Manager/Leeds/up to £350 per day/9 months
VAT (Indirect Tax) Manager with expertise in UK and Ireland VAT jurisdictions wanted by my leading FMCG client based in Leeds.
VAT (Indirect Tax) Manager will be focused on the management and control of this organisations VAT (Indirect Tax) portfolio.
VAT (Indirect Tax) Manager will be working for a genuine household name in a position that will serve as a support and supervisory capacity for the groups monthly VAT (Indirect Tax) return.
VAT (Indirect Tax) Manager will suit candidates who have worked for large scale, UK, European or Global organisations in Senior VAT (Indirect Tax) roles.
Although, VAT (Indirect Tax) Manager will be focused on UK/Ireland VAT, knowledge of cross border transactions/issues will be required for this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support across the full spectrum of indirect tax compliance, including support and supervision of monthly VAT return
- Develop and maintain a solid working relationship with H.M.R.C on VAT compliance matters to maintain low risk rating
- Handle and respond to VAT enquiries by HMRC
- Responsible for SOX reporting and controls (VAT Indirect Tax).
- Review Group procedures and policies with specific relation to indirect tax
- Quickly develop solid (technical and non-technical) stakeholder relationships
- Provide appropriate recommendations to stakeholders on relevant Indirect Tax Regulations
- Provide relevant forecasting of VAT and related Indirect Tax flows
This is a contract role for an initial period of 9 months offering a daily rate up to £350.
I MUST stress, in order to be considered for this role candidates should have exposure to UK and Ireland VAT in a large scale, UK, European or Global organisation.
