Finance Analyst - Strong SAP knowledge needed.
Windsor Based
6 months Contract.
The Role
Reporting
- Assist in the production of the accounting & reporting for the non-producing regions of the Earnings &Profits business, and the Corporate profit centres.
- Ensure that all invoicing to Spirit Energy under the terms of the Functional Services Agreement is completed in accordance with the agreement and settled on a timely basis.
- Responsible for accounting and cash payments in Legacy subsidiaries
- Manage the month end close and reporting process for the consolidated Earnings & Profits segment including reporting Earnings & Profits Flash, KPIs and delivery of analytical reviews.
- Contribute to the production of the monthly MBR pack which is presented to the Group FD
- Assisting Shareholder Team commercial and finance manager with ad-hoc tasks.
Controls
- Complete defined financial controls and provide appropriate supporting evidence in Aris.
- Complete Balance Sheet reconciliations for non-Spirit Energy Segment
- Identify improvements to financial reporting controls for Earnings &Profits.
Planning
- Assist the finance manager with the consolidation and review of the Earnings & Profits segment during the annual planning cycle and GFF processes
External Audit
- Work with Centrica Group auditors, responding to queries and providing evidence through the half year and year end close
- Assist in the completion and successful submission of statutory accounts for Earnings &Profits Legal Entities outside of Spirit Energy.
The Person
- Relevant accounting qualification (eg CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Proficient IT skills, especially SAP ERP, BPC, Excel and PowerPoint
- Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Experience working with and communicating effectively to senior business and finance stakeholders
- Experience working in a Matrix structure with split accountabilities, and working effectively across several teams to achieve results.
