Description

We are assisting our Financial Services client in their search for an IT Procurement Officer to be based in Solihull.

The Role

  • Leading tendering activities such as creation of tender documentation and co-ordination of receipt and review of proposals.
  • Negotiation of commercials and terms & conditions for provision of goods and/or services ensuring procurement activities comply with company policies.
  • Contract management including contract renewals, maintenance of supplier list and contracts database.
  • Supplier engagement and stakeholder management.
  • Maintaining procurement templates such as RFI, RFQ and RFP.
  • Engage in the development and deployment of internal procedures and documentation in relation to procurement.
  • Onboarding of suppliers and carrying out due diligence checks.

The Candidate

  • Relevant Procurement experience across IT Categories such as infrastructure, cloud, networking, telephony and security.
  • Experience of having direct responsibility with co-ordinating and liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholder.
  • IT procurement experience essential.
  • Can Succesfully plan, organise and priorities workload.
  • The ability to interact and develop effective working relationships with staff of all levels, suppliers and other external organisations.
