Are you a graduate in Economics seeking experience in a prestigious organisation?
My client in Newport, South Wales are looking to recruit Provisional Assistant Economists on initial 6 month contracts, paying £18.87 per hour (37 hour week).
You will play a key role in the growth of their economist community and contribute to the vision of being widely respected for informing debate and improving decision making through high quality, easy to use statistics and analyses on the UK economy and society.
These roles will present opportunities to work with the best data sources in the UK and take part in cutting-edge research and production of key economic statistics.
There are a number of roles available across various disciplines.
Relevant Qualifications Skills and Experience:
A first or upper second-class honours degree in economics (at least 50% of the course modules must be in economics); or
- A postgraduate degree in economics. If your first degree is not in economics or is a second class honours, your Masters will need to be in straight economics.
- You must have studied both macro and microeconomics.
- You must provide details of all modules completed, together with grades and credits across all years in university.

- Data Analysis
- Some roles will require experience of using STATA for data manipulation and analysis.
