*Ajilon Consultant*

You will be an integral part of Ajilon (Adecco), a FTSE500 Global organisation with over 52 clients and sole supplier to the biggest organisations in the country and the world. Job Description

Strategic Programme Planning

  • Managing several inter-dependent Project Plans
  • Managing Dependencies and Plan related Risks
  • Planning Reporting
  • Leading Planning team
  • Client Facing

Control and standardise planning across the business, maintain quality

  • Roll out of new template and manage updates to template
  • Ensure all planners have implemented the updates
  • Identify new tools required for improvements and work with stakeholder
  • Planner team meeting to cascade info and go through new things, get feedback, discuss problems etc.
  • Keep the weekly cycle going - chase planners for timely submissions
  • Escalate to Programme managers
  • Quality measure tools - develop, implement
  • Quality reporting - I don't know if this has started since I have been off, as we were just about to roll out new tool and then start weekly reporting on it
  • Quality reviews - to follow up with planners and programme managers to ensure that the project plans hang together properly and are driving meaningful dates. Discuss any discrepancies with the business or commercial milestones (not so relevant now - would be more like making sure all items for products are correctly identified and tagged etc)
  • Ensure plans meet planning good practice

Authority

  • Arrange detailed reviews of plans with Programme managers
  • Pull together comprehensive feedback eg on content, logic, good practice, missing elements etc to send to the Authority
  • Lead weekly meeting with planners to take them through the changes

Communication

  • Weekly communication to Programme Managers and PMs and wider audience ( ops etc)
  • Try to find the best ways to communicate constant and complicated changes
  • Ensure that these changes are reflected into the Project plans (part of quality section above)
  • Set up meeting with different stakeholders to improve productivity & efficiency
  • Attend Product Tech reviews - normally get asked to give latest dates for activities

Admin

  • Room bookings, webex, visitor car park booking etc
  • Maintain Planning Sharepoint
  • Raise planning risks & issues and progress/update them
