Pontoon has received 2 excellent opportunities to join one of the UK's leading Utility clients based in Warwick as a Commercial Officer due to restructure within the organisation.
Job PurposeThe role requires a candidate to lead the bid process for unlicensed business opportunities through to contract award and to manage these contracts through delivery to completion.
Experience Required
Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:
Understanding of regulatory arrangements.
Experience of the managing bid process, from negotiating contractual terms and conditions to developing bid prices.
Knowledge of the construction industry
- Knowledge of procurement and supply chain management
- Expert knowledge of NEC and FIDIC contract terms and conditions
- Knowledge of the Transmission Electricity Industry
Day to Day:
- Communicating with their customers on a weekly basis
- Meeting with stakeholders and customers on a monthly basis
- Review the performance of the contracts
- Seeking events and costs
- Escalating issues with the project team
- Look for new business opportunities
