Scientific Associate - Medical Affairs / Promotional Materials (m/f)

Main tasks:
  • Managing and executing the Medical Affairs review of promotional and non-promotional materials, in accordance with applicable requirements, in collaboration with other stakeholders (Legal and compliance, and Franchise)
  • Supporting the coordination and execution of the regional Medical Affairs review of all promotional materials, according to internal processes and external requirements, to ensure medical/ scientific accuracy in the content of promotional/ educational documents, or any type of related support intended to ultimately circulate inside/outside the company
  • Collaborating with other functions such as business Franchise, Regulatory Affairs, Legal and Compliance, to ensure appropriate integration of information necessary for the review
  • Ensuring the review is compliant to requirements and publications and making recommendations supporting the products features described in the case submitted statements
  • Addressing countries questions and providing support in case of related query when the document will reach the country for review and validation
  • Ensuring a fast and efficient review to allow documents to reach the markets in a timely manner
  • Complying with medical/ scientific content and internal processes
  • Having a trustworthy relationship with other stakeholders regionally and at affiliate’s level


Main qualifications
  • Scientific degree (MS or equivalent in biomedical field, optometrist, Pharm. D., engineer).
  • Previous working experience in similar position
  • Knowledge of the medical devices and ophthalmology (a plus)
  • Previous experience in reviewing promotional materials (a plus)
  • Previous experience in managing clinical trials (a plus)
  • Ability to interact effectively across boundaries with other functions using influencing and relationship building skills
  • Action oriented with proven ability to move projects through success
  • Project management skills with the ability to work in matrix reporting relationships
  • High energy, hands-on individual with a collaborative personal style and the ability to work well in a team environment
