Whitehall Resources are searching for a SAP Tax specialist, with prior local tax experience in the United States.

Work Location: Orlando, Atlanta USA
Engagement period: Up to 31 July 2019
Expected Start date: 07 Jan 2019
Duration: 7 Months (Likely to extend)

As an SAP Tax Consultant, you would work collaboratively with other members of the team in the delivery of project and support related activities. You will have proven delivery capability on implementation projects, with strong communication skills and documentation capability.
You will have played an active role in design workshops converting business requirements into SAP configuration requirements and will then have configured and tested the resulting SAP solution and assisted in the successful deployment of that solution into operational use.

REQUIRED SKILLS
* Person should be able to configure the country's taxation requirements including Direct Taxes (Withholding Tax), Indirect Taxes (Input and Output VAT, GST, Excise) and Corporate Tax.
* Experience in General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and setting up Sales and Use Tax in SAP S/4
* The person should have worked on implementations in respective country, and should be able to provide functional expertise, guide the testing phase in Americas, Europe and Australia.
o Resource must have done 4-5 successful end-to-end implementation experience in SAP S/4 HANA 1610 or 1709.

Required Experience & Skills:
* Experience with Agile Methodologies such as Scrum and XP, but also with more traditional structured approaches
* Team Player, able to provide input into a multifunctional team, self-motivated, capable of working with limited supervision, pro-actively reporting on status and tasks
* Adaptable. The role requires a willingness to take on tasks outside of a narrowly defined role, and ideally a desire to be multi-skilled
* Capable of working to both tactical and strategic timescales
* English and must have excellent written and oral language skills - fluent to a very good grammatical standard
* Willing to accept a high-pressure environment
* Able to work offshore in their home country, working individually but still part of a global implementation team
* Strong communication skills (written and oral) and comfortable communicating with both customers and internal stakeholders
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Self-motivated with the ability to self-learn new areas
* Team player with the ability to multi-task across engagements and support and help others in the wider team
* Works independently with minimal supervision.
