Event/Communications Manager: B2B World-class Event: World Leading Energy Oil Co.

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 8 Months Initially
Rate: £350 - £400 per day

World Leading Global Energy Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for a Event Manager/Communications Consultant to join this External Relations team to deliver business value and enhanced reputation through a B2B-focussed live event in London.

About the Role:

  • Work with the ER Manager to develop and deliver a multi-year strategy that provides a world-class, B2B-focussed live event, with specific focus on the delivery of a Live global flagship event in London in July 2019
  • Support multiple stakeholders (business leads, external partners) in building an event programme that meets stakeholder needs, maximises the opportunity that the event offers and ultimately delivers business value
  • Support the Make the Future and Brand ER Manager and other members of the core event team in the delivery of a safe and successful event on the ground
  • Deliver additional "live" events throughout the year with a focus on content opportunities for amplification.

About You:

  • Senior communications professional with proven experience in the delivery of world-class, integrated marketing campaigns
  • Proven experience in developing brilliant content, leveraging earned, owned and social channels to reach and engage defined target audiences
  • Proven experience of agency management - managing multiple agencies to ensure an integrated approach to maximise output and value
  • Excellent project management skills with a strong eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at a time
  • Live event experience (preferably B2B), able to work under pressure and understand the needs of delivering a high-profile event with and for senior-level stakeholders
  • Have strong writing skills, with the ability to guide agency and internal partners in the delivery of excellent written communications across the full suite of internal and external channels
  • Ability to influence, engage and excite stakeholders, to encourage participation in the event
