Jones Building Group is a West Country based building contractor which manages over £30M of new construction, responsive maintenance and planned maintenance contracts on behalf of Providers of Social Housing and Local Authorities.
Site Manager
We require an experienced Site Manager on a short term contract starting in January for a site based in North Somerset.
Strong interpersonal skill are a must along with a good working knowledge of how to run a site safely and correctly.
About the Role:
- Responsible to the Contracts Manger
- Adhering to and implementing site Health and Safety
- Writing and checking method statements and risk assessments as required
- Management of various staff and controlling labour resources
- Responsibility for ordering and checking materials
About the Candidate:
- Qualification in a trade, Carpentry would be preferred
- Excellent construction knowledge
- Must be self-motivated as well as a motivator
- Must have SMSTS
- First Aid trained
- Competent in risk assessments and method statements
- Some weekend work maybe required at times throughout the contract
- Be a team player as you may be required to help out with works
