Security Processing Analyst - Tier 1 investment bank - Edinburgh
6 month contract - £228 per day
Knowledge/Experience:
* Knowledge of the Fixed Income
* Knowledge of the Bloomberg
* Advanced Excel Skills
* Preparing & analysing data
* Reviewing skills, coaching & giving feedback
* Relevant fund accounting experience
Key Responsibilities:
* Identifies and suggests process improvements
* Assists in the implementation of validated process improvements
* Anticipates and responds to requests and deliverables with internal and external clients.
* Interprets data and makes recommendations. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices.
* Validation of standing data used in bond amortisation calculations
* Carrying out validation process and instructing posting to Valuations Team on a timely basis
* Comparison of current callable bond universe between Static Data and Bloomberg, including monitoring of Yield to Worst Dates and Reporting codes
* Contributing to the improvement of systems, products and services
* Assist with the implementation of company initiatives in line with the organisations vision and strategic direction
