Commercial Manager - Windows 7, Windows 10 Migration, O365
Role Description: ITPM are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to serve as a subject matter expert and thought leader across the Microsoft portfolio, Windows 7 to Windows 10 Migration and O365. You will have a proven track record in the commercial management of contracts and vendor engagements at a global Tier 1 organisation. Exposure to delivering major Global IT Procurement and Commercial projects along and providing regular operational reporting across a wider range of platforms and technologies will also be beneficial.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide a comprehensive monthly view on estate costs with £multi-million budgets
- Provide commercial guidance to a range of IT stakeholders in order to influence best practice
- To make recommendations to reduce cost and implement changes within the End User IT vertical
- Analyse all print consumption, costs and contractual obligations for 2019, 2020 and 2021 in order to design & execute a cost reduction plan for 2019 onwards
- Lead on the delivery of complex IT related tenders and market engagements as required
- Compile a consumption report and to provide recommendations to reduce consumption across the bank
- Tracking project impact against the operational costs of the division
- Reduce vendor complexities, address licensing inefficiencies and reduce cost
- Acting as integrator for clients to bring together commercial and technical stakeholder expertise to deliver an optimal commercial outcome
- Provide reporting on licencing asset management opportunities for vendor/estate reduction
- Reviewing complex IT service/technology contracts ie outsourcing, licensing to identify and evaluate contract, commercial and project risks.
Key attributes required:
- Professional IT Commercial Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional commercial management projects.
- Commercial management experience (5+ years' experience)
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 10 Migration, O365 implementation
- A strong commercial awareness with the ability to solve complex business issues.
- The ability to probe for specific information to understand complex issues.
- Highly motivated, resilient, organised and structured, thrive in a challenging environment. Commercially astute, you will be comfortable analysing financial data.
- The abilitity to operate up to C-level and influence to leverage positive changes and efficiencies
- Exposure to different types of licensing agreements
- Strong understanding of Commercial contracts within the IT vertical with specific reference to Microsoft products
- Strong documentation skills to provide detailed and effective recommendations papers to internal Product owners
