For our client in Dusseldorf, we are currently looking for a SAP Consultant

Start: 1.2.19
End: 31.8.19
Volume: 2-3 days per week (Due to production load complete availability in June necessary)
Location: Dusseldorf
Remote: partly possible
Project language: English and German

Travel: (Mexico/ Guatemala) CW 14 CW 21 CW (max 1,5 weeks)

Project background

The client is seeking support for a comprehensive business transformation program facilitating the implementation of a globally aligned and harmonized Supply Chain including Purchasing. For the first time, there will be end-to-end, standardized supply chain process. Being part of the Strategy, this program is a key initiative for the scalable business model. The organization with lean and simplified operations aims to enhance the competitiveness by leveraging on the client's combined potential, boosting process efficiency. The program will be implemented in clearly determined, overlapping phases clustering a defined number of countries. Each implementation phase lasting over a period of 12 months.
Role description

Purpose

- Testing, training, cutover, go-live preparation, and hyper care

Main Tasks

- Understand template and local gaps / requirements
- Alignment with template team, IT consulting, factory (offshore delivery center) on status, i.e. issues, risks, problem resolution
- SAP authorization preparation for local and global needs
- Standards in for production relevant SAP Modules (PP/PI, MM, PM, QM, COPC, APO, SD,…).
- Master Data conversion check (Rules, Functional Design,…)
- Master Data change in Org. Structures/SAP-Systems, which are not direct part of the Project-Scope)
- Alignment with Global Process Owner
- Test plan creation and execution
- Training material creation and local adaptation
- Cutover
- Go-live / hyper care
Required Experience

Knowledge

- SAP MP, QM, PM (WM)
- SAP CO, COPC
- Familiarity with Interfaces to Production Subsystems
- Strategic consulting
- Familiarity with APO and the relationship to Production/ CM
- Familiarity with LE processes (SD) in relationship to Production/ CM
- Extensive experience in R/ 3 Implementations for PP/ PI, QM + PM
- Extensive experience in training (PP/ PI + QM)
- Experience in the industries consumer products
- ASAP implementation methodology
- Solution Manager (Implementation platform)
