Description

Michael Bailey Associates are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst for a Leading Financial Organization in Zurich, Switzerland.

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Main responsibilities will include:

· To work as a Business Analyst within the project
· Responsible for the gathering of business requirements, documentation of the business requirements including putting forward recommendations for solutions, where required
· Preparation of functional specifications and use cases for the delivery of the business requirements
· Review recommended solution and control completeness of IT specifications vs. business requirements
· Preparation of test plans, test cases, co-ordinating with users and IT during the testing phase

The skills required will be:

· 10+ years of experience as Business Analyst in a large scale global regulatory project
· Strong communication, organisational and negotiation skills
· Good understanding of accounting / experience of accounting projects
· Very good analytical skills, problem solving skills and critical thinking

Desired skills:

Some knowledge in banking products (loans, SLB, risk models, …)
Degree in Finance / Accounting / IT (MBA (Finance)/CA/ICWA/CPA/ACCA)
PeopleSoft skills
SQL skills
MS Access skills
UAT Testing skills
In-depth experience in US_GAAP and CH_Banking_GAAP accounting treatment
