Finance Analyst vacancy for our Zurich based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- 5+ years of consistently outstanding work performance in financial planning and analysis in a multinational company with a focus on manufacturing operations
- Strong understanding of the IFRS, manufacturing process and Operations KPI as well as outstanding Excel, PowerPoint and financial modeling skills
- Practical knowledge with SAP R/3, BI, Business Warehouse, Oracle, HFM is advantageous
- Expertise in financial planning, analysis, also with Technical Development, Manufacturing and Quality functions in either the Biotech or Pharma industry
- Qualification as CMA or CPA, MBA or a Master in Finance is favored
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Establishing SOX controls rooted to the financial reporting cycles along with a full, timely and precise submission of all mandatory data in the systems and to ensure a complete compliance with corporate policies and IFRS
- Helping GMSGQ finance leadership team in all integration activities linked to the adaptation of the planning and reporting systems
- Providing technical guidance to GMS controllers and managing trainings on planning and reporting systems
- Aiding with the budgeting and resource allocation processes including Budget, Mid-Year Commitment and mid-range plan
- Contributing substantial financial management reporting which is used as the basis of performance management and decision making
- Assuring a full, timely and precise submission of all required data in the systems along with analysing key data and translating it into actionable information for management
- Bookkeeping and reporting responsibilities which include reconciliation, creation of management reporting packages and variance analysis at the end of a month
