Description

We are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst to work on a contract basis in London for a leading global energy trading company.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring Application and Infrastructure Change & Release activities are executed efficiently and effectively whilst maintaining compliance. This includes coordinating demand for various environments. You will look after control activities which govern Applications.

The ideal candidate will;
* Represent T&S's interests back into Downstream and the greater Enterprise.
* Plan Release Windows for T&S portfolios on a yearly basis.
* Ensure Release Policies are current, agreed, and loaded into the system of record.
* Communicate Change Freeze dates and procedures to the IT community.
* Coordinate the use of shared environments between Projects and Maintenance.
* Facilitate the recording of T&S decisions for Infrastructure Changes back into Downstream.
* Implement process improvement initiatives into the organization.
* Assist in change ticket review / approvals / planning.
* Ensure regulatory and compliance controls are embedded in landscape operations and assist with evidence collection.
* Ensure evidence is collected and available for audit purposes.
* Work to close gaps identified during various audits.
* Maintain Application cost information and chase data quality issues.
The ideal candidate must have;
* Experience in applications support and support processes, specifically ITIL
* Experience in Change Management in a complex infrastructure environment
* Prior experience in IT with applications support and IT services management
* Strong stakeholder, interpersonal relationship, and negotiation skills
* Proven ability to deliver results in a matrix organization driving delivery excellence through influence and team working
* Ability to operate in a virtual cross cultural organization
* Ability to guide large groups of people across multiple organizations
* Ability to chair and facilitate meetings of 40+ attendees
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to deal with conflict and ambiguity effectively
