Credit Risk Data Analyst - Zurich Contract

Michael Bailey are happy to present a Credit Risk Data Analyst Role for a large financial institution in Zurich, Switzerland. Initially for 6 months with a good rate of pay. Overview of business area or project:

Development and improvement of strategic risk measuring and steering instruments, in particular build up and implementation of a strategic data sourcing platform for holistic transparent risk analysis

Responsibility for ad-hoc data extraction and analysis as per requests agreed with business partnersKey Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance the credit and loss database (PL SQL code)

Analyze data issues in co-operation with data providers and data consumers. Propose solution to be agreed with stakeholders

Quickly build up the know-how to work on the database and subsequently share knowledge with new Zurich team members to be on-boarded in the course of 2019.
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

Experience in data base management and maintenance

Profound knowledge in (PL)-SQL. Ability to maintain and enhance complex code.

Analytical skills, especially with regards to financial analysis

Organized personality with attention to details, flexibility and ability to work under pressure

Proficiency in English.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

German language is a plusChallenges Contractor will be facing in this role:

It is expected that the contractor settles in to his/her role quickly which includes complex oracle database structure containing multiple tables and a data sourcing code written in PL SQL. Key stakeholder with deep insight into the project can be consulted, but with limited availability.
