My Client is a Swiss bank with Global operations based in Zurich. They are currently seeking a Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer for an initial 6 months with a strong likelihood for extension.Key responsibilities will include:
- Work within an agile scrum team to implement various features & projects in the application landscape
- As a Business Engineer you are in a key role to ensure that the functional requirements are understood, documents and considered correctly in the implementation
- Create and maintain the product documentation
- Capture epics and user stories
- Analyse new business requests and support the effort estimation of the team
- Conduct business & technical analyses
- Advise business stakeholders
- Support testing activities
The successful incumbent will possess:
- 10 yrs + in a similar role in the banking industry
- In-depth experience in banking, finance, financial products, Swiss and European regulatory frameworks, portfolio management and advisory processes
- Good understanding of Software Development processes, preferable experience as a developer
- UML hands-on experience with ability to model domain models or visualise dynamic flows
- Practical SQL skills to be able to conduct data analysis if required
- UX/UI Design skills
- Understanding portfolio theory and portfolio management processes
If you possess Java code threading experience or any experience with legacy systems including OS/390, PL1, TSO this would be highly advantageous.
