Description

My Client is a Swiss bank with Global operations based in Zurich. They are currently seeking a Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer for an initial 6 months with a strong likelihood for extension.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Work within an agile scrum team to implement various features & projects in the application landscape
  • As a Business Engineer you are in a key role to ensure that the functional requirements are understood, documents and considered correctly in the implementation
  • Create and maintain the product documentation
  • Capture epics and user stories
  • Analyse new business requests and support the effort estimation of the team
  • Conduct business & technical analyses
  • Advise business stakeholders
  • Support testing activities


The successful incumbent will possess:
  • 10 yrs + in a similar role in the banking industry
  • In-depth experience in banking, finance, financial products, Swiss and European regulatory frameworks, portfolio management and advisory processes
  • Good understanding of Software Development processes, preferable experience as a developer
  • UML hands-on experience with ability to model domain models or visualise dynamic flows
  • Practical SQL skills to be able to conduct data analysis if required
  • UX/UI Design skills
  • Understanding portfolio theory and portfolio management processes


If you possess Java code threading experience or any experience with legacy systems including OS/390, PL1, TSO this would be highly advantageous.
