We have an exciting opportunity to join a Global Bank in Switzerland for an initial 6 Months as a Python scripting Big Data lead/Architect to be based in the centre of Zurich, Switzerland location.The successful incumbent will possess hands-on software engineering in a data heavy environment, especially reference data with strong experience in Python, Big data Hadoop, Unix scripting, batch and Cron Jobs. The Solutions Architect would be responsible for:
- Able to work independently and coordinate / plan work with other teams (cross-department, global) and report status / escalate to snr management
- Good communication skills. Able to handle project team and foundry stakeholders.
- Need good presentation skills, able to convey requirement and issues clearly to business community.
- Should able to convince different stake holders on data changes and its impact
- Excellent analytic, troubleshooting and impact analysis skills
- Holding a BE or MCA in Computer Science or similar technical field of study
This opportunity would be great for someone who has recently joined the IT world, and wants to progress within the Banking/ Finance Sector, as well as to add some great names on their CV.
