My Client a Global Bank based in Zurich is currently looking for a Business Analyst for an initial 6 months.
Key Responsibilities

As RDM Business Analyst, you will work as part of our Data Provisioning Operations team in Zurich to further enhance our data quality controls and compiling required controls documentation & processes as needed to ensure compliance with BCBS 239 regulatory requirements. Additional work is required for compiling Business requirements for IT system enhancements.

The role involves:
  • Close engagement with DP BAU as well as CRO Change function to collect required information for compiling Data Controls and Process documentation
  • Supporting the DP BAU team on specifying new Controls and setting them up in the existing system environment, while helping the team to address identified control gaps
  • Working with the Global DP team to align on defined artefacts and applicable documentation standards
  • Supporting the DP BAU team in providing root-cause analysis on data breaches
  • Hands on involvement in analysis and answering of adhoc queries
  • Compiling Business Requirements documentation for IT system enhancements, and working with IT and CRO Change on solution design


The successful incumbent will possess an excellent understanding of credit risk (or other risk areas such as market risk) discipline from data controls and BAU process perspective with direct experience in credit risk or market risk system implementations. Relevant business support and analysis experience within banking and financial services, as well as experience in designing operating models, processes and control functions. Hands-on experience with Database / SQL Queries / Database query tools.

Desired skills include:
  • BCBS 239 knowledge is desired, but not compulsory
  • Analytical skills to identify the scale and scope of impact
  • German is an advantage for working in CH
