Description
- You build-up new Energy Economics Solutions, enhance existing Solutions and ensure maintenance across different countries
- You actively initiate, plan and execute projects using different software development methodologies
- You manage the delivery of projects, providing full transparency throughout the project lifecycle
- You prepare and track task plans for diverse teams
- You analyze and resolve issues, determine root causes, seek and provide effective and endurable solutions through possible enhancements
- You manage communication, reporting and monitoring regarding system stability and quality
- You work together with Business users in different countries to identify appropriate solutions You drive and enhance support processes, delivery excellence and continuous improvement activities
- You actively promote knowledge sharing and build-up of internal IT expertise and skills
Required Skills:
- Academic degree or equivalent professional qualification
- Hands on experience in a project management role, with direct involvement in medium/large sized IT implementation projects
- Experience with Energy Trading and Risk Management systems and cloud based implementation projects is a plus
- Operational experience of working in an Energy Trading environment is beneficial
- Strong analytical and structured way of thinking, high organizational skills and IT affinity
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Willingness to take on responsibility
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to facilitate workshops, present to senior stakeholders and manage conflict
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
- Willingness to travel on a regular basis with Essen as the department location
