For a project at our client ‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
Data Warehouse Consultant - Oracle %)
Your Qualifications:
- Many years’ experience as Data Warehouse Consultant with focus on Oracle versions 11g and 12c including knowledge of the differences
- Well versed in designing and developing data marts or data warehouses on Oracle as well as strong knowledge of development in SQL/PLSQL and Informatica
- In depth knowledge of architecture and data model design
- Extensive experience in dynamic script generation
- Experience with Toad and in Business Intelligence
- Open, proactive team player with excellent documentation skills
- Fluency in English required, German is an advantage
Your Responsibilities:
- Build an Oracle data mart for CRM (customer relationship management) based on data from the Oracle DWH
- Document the implementation and write user guide for future enhancements by the Analytics team
- Work closely together with Analytics team
- Prepare deployments and assist in deployment (UAT and Production environment are different Oracle version)
- Assess in detail the impact of the new origination process/system on existing BI infrastructure, data warehouse and reporting
- Design the changes to be executed in the ETL and reporting
- Provide detailed technical specifications for the ETL development team
- Coordinate the preparation of the development and test environments
- Test and validate the ETL development
- Document all the changes and new process implemented including data models and dictionaries, and handover them to the BI and production support teams
- Coordinate and communicate proactively with all the stakeholders all along the project (external vendors, project management, BI team, development team, IT)
