Description

Business Analyst vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.

Your experience/skills:
  • 7+ years of working experience as IT Business Analyst in the financial services sector with 5+ years of practice in the area of Asset or Wealth Management including Portfolio Management systems or applications covering the investment process
  • Good understanding of main asset classes including Equity, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange and Derivatives as well as of investment decision making processes and strategies
  • Familiarity with working with stakeholders from all levels including senior stakeholders
  • Competency of leading requirements gathering, specifications and User Acceptance Testing
  • Solid knowhow of SQL, MS Office and MS Access as well as of Agile development methodologies such as Scrum
  • Background in Test Management with HP Quality Center, Project Management and ITIL Service Management is beneficial
  • Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken, German is a plus


Your tasks:
  • Fulfilling the role of the Product Owner by managing the Product Roadmap, maintaining business requirements and cooperating closely with the Scrum Master and the development team
  • Accounting for new value-adding product capabilities from vision to concept development and to implementation for three applications within the project portfolio
  • Coordinating with different stakeholders from Advisory Business, Investment Management and Portfolio Construction in order to understand, formulate and prioritise business requirements and translating them into IT specifications
  • Supporting business users by resolving daily business issues as well as IT problems
  • Planning and executing Integration Tests and coordinating UAT with business and other applications
  • Maintaining and improving business requirements management and documentation
