Description

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company with HQ based in Basel who is currently on an exciting growth curve are seeking a Technical & Process Expert on an urgent basis for an initial 5 months with a strong likelihood for extension.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Provides to the Site the specialist knowledge, as Subject Matter Expert, in pharmaceutical processes, and process technologies related to Cell and Gene Therapy.
  • Owns the knowledge of manufacturing process concepts, methods & strategies to guarantee state-of-the art quality of Cell & Gene Therapy products.
  • Supports manufacturing success by providing and increasing technical know-how, training others, and working in assigned projects with the rest of the organization.
  • Provide scientific expertise on broad topics related to manufacturing cell therapies.
  • Subject Matter Expert within MS&T, managing assigned projects, studies, and procedures.
    Proposes conceptual and strategical projects relevant to his/her specific expertise.
  • Carries out and supports process improvement, analysis and characterization to increase manufacturing efficiencies and productivity.
  • Maintains work at inspection readiness level; provides necessary support in any internal or external audit in addition to providing input and reviews of regulatory documentation.
  • Owns the Training Curriculum for own Job Profile and provides the necessary training and support to associates in MS&T.
  • Provides timely document/report authorship, review, and submission.
  • Serves as deviations investigator, initiator of database documents, CAPA/project owner.
  • Supports experimental/hands-on projects as needed.
  • Supports file and data management and data analysis within MS&T.


The successful incumbent will possess:
  • Advanced degree in Immunology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or equivalent scientific degree.
  • Fluent in English and proficient in site local language.
  • 8-10 years experience in a pharmaceutical Environment
