My client is looking for
- A Software Development Team Leader to help coordinate and drive team efforts to deliver software solutions.
- The team is vital to the continued success of the business, having responsibility for developing and supporting new products.
- The project will be challenging and fast paced amidst a hardworking and delivery focused company ethos.
Preferred skills and experience
- Extensive commercial development experience.
- Proven track record in leading teams to deliver high quality solutions.
- Team building experience, resource planning and management
- Software delivery within enterprise environment
Main Responsibilities
- Assisting in driving the provision of a capable, reactive, motivated and delivery focused team.
- Enforcing governance around quality, rules, standards and processes within the team.
- Ensuring the solution meets the needs of the business.
- Ensuring the development process is conducted in a timely fashion.
- Aiming to limit repeated steps with the development process.
- Identifying and migrating risk.
- Removing blockers to delivery.
- Mentoring members of the team and ensuring distribution of knowledge.
