Digital Service Owner/Delivery Manager (SC Cleared) Rate: 550/day, inside IR35, 4 monthsPlease note that the client is based in South Wales, but work can be carried out remotely.
Applicants must be eligible to undergo the SC clearance process, or hold active SC Clearance.
High-profile government client, looking for a Service Owner to be responsible for a portfolio of Digital services and products including the overall strategy and delivery of the product development roadmap. You will be expected to operate at scale and provide the connection between multidisciplinary business areas and stakeholders.
This is a strategic role where you will have senior leadership responsibilities within an Agile environment and be accountable for the delivery of services that meet the Government Digital Services (GDS) Standard.
To be considered, you will need to have experience of:
Leading and developing high-performing teams and promoting and embedding Agile workingPractices; Building trusting and collaborative relationships on sensitive issues. You will be comfortable influencing and engaging colleagues and gaining commitment to delivering your vision, including through coaching and mentoring.
Delivering services that meet and maintain the digital by default culture.
Financial reporting for a service and the promoting a culture of value for money when delivering Services.
Developing a long-term vision.
Managing team dynamics effectively when working across organisational and other boundaries in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of the digital landscape, including how organisational digital agenda fits within the broader context of e-government
