Azure Data Architect
UK wide/Remote
Up to £750 per day
6-12 Month Contract
You will architect, design, cost and plan solutions and will support delivery teams as those solutions are implemented into live service.
This particular project involves the integration of a current SaaS solution into a firm wide CRM solution.
The Person
- Experience in several or all of the areas described above, particularly CRM projects.
- Experience in architecting, designing and implementing solutions in the Microsoft Azure stack using technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL Server, Synapse Analytics, Analysis Services and Power BI
- Skilled in Datamodelling across both operational (OLTP) and analytical (OLAP) use cases
- Experience of Alteryx, Qlik, Tableau and the AWS and GCP platform stacks is an advantage
- Experience of working across end-to-end software development, technology or consulting projects (strategy, discovery, design, development and deployment)
- Experience explaining complex processes and circumstances in technical and non-technical terms to ensure all understand
- A talent for clear, concise communication and getting your point across, both verbal and in written format
- Experience in working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and familiarity with the benefits and risks of each
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, handle quickly changing priorities, and be capable of managing yourself to achieve maximum results
- Strong stakeholder management with a history of building solid relationships with customers and team members
- Strong people skills, able to engage with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to support a working culture characterised by collaboration, continuous improvement and commitment to high performance
