Assurance Manager/Commercial Manager (GDS, Digital, Technology) £400 - £500 per day Inside IR35
I am working with a government organisation who are on the lookout for an Assurance Manager/Commercial Manager. You will join their team on a minimum 6 month contractual basis.
Assurance Manager/Commercial Manager works within the digital technology team, which is responsible for ensuring all spend and developments meet the Government Digital Standards (GDS). These are to help implement good quality, value for money digital services that will be utilised.
Essential experience
*Government Digital Standards (GDS)
*A strong understanding/experience of digital delivery
*Agile development methodology and processes
*Strong verbal communications skills
*Experience working across different levels and types of stakeholders
*Excellent written skills including producing and assuring documentation (eg: business cases)
*Financial management experience including cost analysis/modelling and benefits management
Key responsibilities
*Work with colleagues to help produce pipeline assessments and undertake Assurance Level for digital, technology and commercial pipeline items
*Manage any pipeline Control items and ensure associated spend requests are sent in a timely fashion and manage the process
*Provide standards and service assurance, support and advice to department programme, project, service, and commercial colleagues as required
*Ensure external assurance representatives from Cabinet Office (Government Digital Service, Government Commercial Function and Infrastructure & Projects Authority) and Her Majesty's Treasury are involved during department assurance and pipeline approval as required
