Description

Anglo American is looking for a Post Go-Live Support (PGLS) Lead who will act as the 'front door' to any user questions or issues raised once the MAP solution is deployed and operational. The PGLS Lead will triage issues raised and manage the coordination of resolution across data issues, product issues and scope changes. The PGLS will ensure a smooth transition to longer-term support teams and BAU.

The vision for the Performance Management transformation portfolio is to focus work efforts on value-add activity and through embracing the latest technologies, drive business performance.

One of the streams that contribute to this vision is Management Accounting Programme (MAP) and the deployment of the cost model framework.

The Cost Model Framework will support the Site Leadership Team better analyse cost performance and inform decisions improving site financial performance to achieve their operating plans and ultimately for Anglo to achieve the Burning Ambition.

Cost model data gives greater granularity of costs being incurred to make better decisions and drive performance, enabling sites to apply best practices, identified through comparable cost benchmarking at all levels within the organisation.

Qualifications: A consultancy background (preferable)

Technical Knowledge: Operations (preferable, but not required):

o Principles and elements of the AA Operating Model;

o AA Organisation Model concepts and principles.

o Track record of leading ideas generation; translating these into practical initiatives to be implemented and demonstration of successful execution and delivery within a system's context;

o Can evidence 5+ years of project management experience across AA or an organisation of comparable size and complexity;

o Can demonstrate hands-on experience working across Programmes or Projects with a large data and or technology component.

o Safety, health and environment, legislative, statutory, regulatory and permitting requirements

Technical Skills: Ability to apply the following skills at a defined level

Operations:

o Previous exposure to Power BI dashboards (preferable). Management: o MS Office (Inc. Team) - Expert, High Proficiency;

o Identification of key strategic risks and opportunities that could materially impact the operation and implementation of appropriate processes and systems to mitigate/leverage them;

o Operation in and across different commodity, geographical and socio-political contexts.
