Agile Coach - Freelance/Contract - Brussels
Robson Bale are looking for an Agile Coach to come on board for an initial 6 month contract in Brussels.
3 months, market rate
Remote during Covid and on-site after.
Job Description:
- A Scrum and scaled Agile Expert
- Should have hands-on experience in delivering projects using agile practices such as Scrum, XP, Kanban, SAFe etc
- Should have played the role of a Scrum Master on multiple projects
- Should be able to conduct workshops on agile related topics
- Experience as an Agile Coach
- Coaches executives and stakeholders to align their expectations for working within an Agile environment
- Identifies methodology challenges and collaboratively creates solutions to continuously improve
- Acquires or generates knowledge repository content including approaches, techniques, processes, procedures, toolkits, role definitions and templates
- Mentors Scrum Masters and Product Owners on agile software development principles and practices, Scrum processes, team building, and facilitation
- Uses inspect and adapt with Scrum Masters, Product Owners and teams to continually improve performance and responsiveness
- Collaborates with teams, management, peers and other roles to establish understanding of shared responsibility and deliverables to ensure success relative to our Agile/Scrum process
- In collaboration with other Agile Coaches, manages the enterprise agile methodology knowledge repository
- Ability to drive the formation/transformation of high performance teams
- Ability to build effective high performing relationships and coalitions across businesses and functions
Skills and Knowledge:
- Should possess excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Understand the complexities of large enterprises
- Good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to self-manage in a diverse, fast paced work environment
- Must be a learner
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks
- Certified in one or more of the following
- CSM, CSP, CSPO,CSC,CST
- PMP, PMI-ACP,
- SAFe: SA, SP, SPC, SPCT, SPMPO
- Scrum Org: PSM, PSD, PSPO
Education:
- Holds one or more of following Certifications (Mandatory)
- CSC/CSP/CSM/CSPO from Scrum Alliance
- ACP from PMI
- SAFe certified
- PMP/CSQA/Lean/Six Sigma - (Preferred)
Experience:
- Overall experience of 10 to 15 years in process definition, management and improvement
- Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, managing, and monitoring the business assessments and process improvement initiatives across project(s)
- Analyse performance of Quality processes and procedures
- Hands on experience in various project management activities like estimation, planning etc
- Should have worked on end to end process transformation in any one of the areas like CMMi/Agile/Six Sigma/Lean/Validation
- Minimum two years' experience in implementing Agile or lean
- Experience in implementing agile at scale is a plus
- Very good understanding of software engineering practices
- Good exposure to development activities
- Good exposure to presales and supported multiple RFPs
- Ability to provide trainings on various topics under process domain
- Good analytical skills,keen eye for data and ability to use data to support any hypothesis
- Worked with global customers and has at least one onsite experience
