£550/day (Outside IR35)
Java Architect needed with active SC Security Clearance. 6 Month Contract for a client in Southend (Essex). Outside IR35. Start ASAP in June 2021.
A chance to work with a leading global digital transformation business on large-scale Government projects.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic you will be able to work remotely from home (WHF) for until restrictions are fully lifted.
Key experience + duties will include:
- End-to-end design, configuration + implementation for service support integration solutions architecture.
- Must offer strong Java + Spring Boot architecture experience ideally for micro-services solutions.
- Rabbit MQ and IBM MQ experience preferred.
- Defining/shapping client requirements, including supporting Service Design team in developing service solutions.
- Managing the technical architecture across the full life cycle of the project.
- Risk Management: identifying, owning + controlling technical risks.
- Driving architecture activities + managing technical aspects of the transition of the solution into go-live phase.
- Interfacing with IT Service Transition, Service Design + Technical Operations teams to ensure service design packages are robust.
- Technologies/Tools: Oracle/MySQL Databases, AWS Cloud, Agile (TDD, BDD, Scrum, Kanban), Continuous Integration (CI), DevOps, JIRA, ServiceNow, Confluence.
- Automation build/test tools (Maven, Jenkins, Cucumber, Gitlab, Ansible).
- Must hold active SC Clearance. Any supporting evidence of SC status would be helpful (-eg- sponsor letter, email confirmation etc).
