FX Middle Office Support Analyst

A Leading F/S Business in the City are looking to hire an experienced FX Analyst with in depth exposure to Middle Office trade life cycle support functions.

£300 - £360 a day (Umbrella) deductions and calculations can be detailed & explained

Job Description:

FX Middle Office analyst role supporting the firms EMEA Foreign Exchange Sales and Trading desks by acting as a key control and support function in the trade life cycle.

As part of the FX Middle Office team the analyst will collaborate with a wide variety of business areas, ranging from the Front Office, to Line Control, to Margins and Settlements team, towards a shared goal of providing the best possible client service whilst ensuring any trade queries/discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and maintain controls over trade life cycle events including allocations, novations, unwinds and amendments

* Analyse and comment on daily front-to-back trade reconciliation and exception reports

* Investigate or escalate queries raised by Operations, Legal/Compliance, and Product Control while working towards a final resolution

* Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to the sales/trading desk and Middle Office management

* Participate in value-add projects including, but not limited to performance analysis, implementation and support for new trading initiatives, and providing specifications and testing for new technologies

* Work with global, as well as regional peers, to communicate ideas and solutions to enhance efficiency and/or controls

Skills:

* Previous relevant experience supporting FX Products (FX Spot/FX Forwards/FX Options/NDFs)

* Effective communication and analytical skills

* Computer literate

* Good time management

* Ability to work in a high pressurized time sensitive environment
