My management Consulting client have partnered with an FS company to help establish and create a Data function. They are looking for a team of Data Engineering Consultants (18 to 20) from Top Down to set this up.
The FS company are currently on-premise and have data centres but are looking to transition into the cloud and use Azure as their chosen vendor. The main goal for the client is to have a team of experienced Data Engineers who have built an Azure data strategy, data lake and gone from on-prem to cloud.
The ideal Data Engineer should have a solution architect or data engineering certification in leading cloud providers (Azure, GCP or AWS). Experience in Banking, Finance sector or sectors involving large data volumes.
5+ years of experience in data design and development in: Data warehousing, Datamodelling (3NF, star schema etc), Data lake development using big data technologies or cloud native solutions. Complex Data integration pipelines with varied types (nested XML, JSON, Cobol, EBCIDC formats) and sources of data (direct integration, API based, ftp transfer). Securing data solutions. Data Management solutions (Reference data management, master data management).
£450 to £500 (Inside IR35)
