£500 - £600 per day
A BI Developer is required by our Global Client to be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining Power BI Business Intelligence solutions as part of the organisation's transformation programme. The role will be a part of the data team, reporting into a BI Developer Lead who will plan and manage activities.
Our client has recognised that the core operational systems utilised in its divisions need to evolve from the current in-house bespoke software towards a more conventional enterprise-wide ERP package centred model.
Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience of using Business Intelligence/visualisation tools, Power BI preferred but will consider Tableau, Qlick, Datalabs etc.
- Ability to quickly understanding requirements and produce business focussed reports and dashboards.
- Ability to query databases and build views with SQL.
- Experience working in a Scrum Agile delivery team is desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Highly numerate and logical
- Experience building reports in one of the following areas: Sales, Marketing,
- Customer Experience, Distribution/Logistics or Ecommerce
- Ability to clearly communicate and demo outputs to stakeholders.
- Experience of working in fast paced environments to strict deadlines.
Familiar with using the Microsoft Azure toolset (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake Storage)
