Our Public Sector client is looking to recruit a Business Change Project Manager on a 6 month initial contract to join their Programme Directorate.
The main focus of the role will be to deliver a Service Catalogue project which is also in flight as well as start a similar project which is focused on creating a new Product Catalogue. The new Service and Product Catalogue is a large Business Change Project and is to ensure the business has a single point of reference for products and services removing potential duplication or MIS-management. The catalogue will target the ServiceNow platform and will be based around the Common Services Data Model.
As a Project Manager your key duties will include:
- Agreeing deliverables, managing budgets, monitoring resources, procurement and managing internal and external stakeholders
- Project reporting and progress updates
- Direct and motivate project teams
- Manage risk and issues
- Monitor and forecast project progress
- Build relationships
- Identify, analyse and evaluate benefit realisation
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Prince 2 Practitioner and/or APM or equivalent experience
- Managing projects from start to finish including business change projects
- Experience managing risk and issues
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Financial reporting and planning
- Experience of the Public Sector, ServiceNow or Change Management methodologies would be highly desirable but not essential.

The role is currently a remote home based role but as restrictions are lifted we expect a combination of remote and onsite working.
Preference will also be given to candidates who hold SC Security Clearance however those eligible to apply will be considered. You will need to obtain BPSS Clearance prior to starting which takes 2-4 weeks and also have submitted a SC Clearance Application.
Day Rate: £407.47 per day INSIDE IR35 via a umbrella company.
