Description

My Banking client requires a Programme Manager who specialises in Risk & Regulatory to support their retail team!

Responsibilities include -

  • Supporting the Programme Director with the delivery of the required IRB models leading up to PRA submission working collaboratively with Model Owners and Tranche Leads.
  • Working alongside the workstream leads, to ensure appropriate communication and dependency management between the workstreams, to support successful delivery and embedding of the required changes.
  • Working collaboratively with Model Owners and Tranche Leads to successfully deliver workstream deliverables (see list below) in line with agreed specifications, budgets and timeframes.
  • Using technical expertise and prior experience to lead the Credit Model Delivery project manager team effectively and provide.
  • Setting the strategic direction for the team and provide project/change management expertise to Credit Risk IRB data enablement and modellers, and supporting the resolution of queries/technical issues as they arise.
  • Managing the workstream's plans, risks, issues, dependencies and assumptions, and ensuring these are documented and monitored appropriately.
  • Reporting progress to the project's leadership on a regular basis, including the escalation of issues to management as appropriate.
  • Supporting the Programme Director in monitoring the workstream's costs, to ensure the workstream's objectives can be delivered on budget.

Delivery workstream deliverables include:

  • Updated model development documentation - model development ToR, standards etc.
  • Develop monitoring suitable for each model.
  • Provision of suitable internal data for model development.
  • Regulatory compliant model development documentation for all enhanced IRB models (including data selection, code documentation and user overviews)
  • Model validation reports for all enhanced IRB models
  • Governance committee submissions, enabling the review of all enhanced IRB models
  • Input for regulatory submissions, including full regulatory Self-assessment for each applicable IRB model
