My client is a leading Higher education establishment based in the heart of Birmingham. At present, they have a requirement to recruit a highly experienced Business Analyst with prior or current experience of working in the Higher Education Sector.
The project is to undertake a systemic review of the University's Research Information System (RIS) currently delivered via the PURE application.
The offering is due for review from both a contractual basis and the developments within the marketplace, including increased functionality and the availability of cloud/full Software as a Service (SaaS) provision.
The successful Business Analyst will be expected to deliver the following outputs:
As-Is analysis for RIS position
Evaluation of the current UK Higher Education (HE) environment for RIS usage, including providers (eg Worktribe, Conversis Symplectic etc.)
Requirements elicitation to support the definition of a RIS approach that aligns to the clients strategic direction
Cumulative options appraisal for potential next steps based on need, available resources and project priority
