SAP Project Manager
An international company is looking for an experienced SAP Finance ERP Project Manager for their transformation programme.
The PM will take responsibility for creating the project plan for the assigned workstream scope in Finance and will drive delivery of this plan through execution.
The SAP Project Manager will bridge the gap between the Business Process teams, technical delivery teams, and the System Integrator, and will be responsible for defining project milestones and managing project delivery against time, budget and scope. The right candidate will have strong knowledge of PM methodologies and proven delivery experience eg PMP, PMI, Waterfall, Agile for large-scale ERP Projects (SAP ECC, S4 Hana, Oracle R12, Fusion, Cloud ERP).
Responsibilities:
- Project Manager for end-to-end Financial System SAP ERP implementation
- Formulate a project plan based on established PM methodologies and execute this plan against definitions of time/scope/budget, collaborating and escalating as needed
- Define delivery milestones to monitor and report progress and hold key stakeholders to account for delivery timelines
- Collaborate with, and challenge the System Integrator on approach and methodology in order to ensure the business receives first-class SI delivery
- Track the project for the assigned scope, keeping senior programme leadership updated with progress
- Coordinate collaboration between the central delivery team, cross-functional teams, external partners and local implementation teams
Requirements:
- SAP Project Management experience for finance in a large international project
- Experience managing an End-to-end ERP implementation from Requirements Gathering, through project planning, setting design and build milestones and project rollout
- Strong organisation skills and ability to work to tight deadlines and drive a project forward
- Project Management qualifications (eg PMI, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall) and strong working knowledge of these methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with, lead and influence stakeholders
- Lean/Six Sigma skills desirable
