Description
Our client is looking for a QA Tester to join ASAP on a 3 month contract (with a view to extend thereafter). The role will be remote working with the occasional visit on site further down the line.
Ideally you will have the following skill/experience:
Key responsibilities/primary tasks:
- Extensive QA experience
- Systems Integration Testing
- Functional testing experience
- Manage and quality assure test scripts and plans for use by Test team
- Overview all plans produced by Test Team and distribute these to all interested parties
- Manage complex System/user acceptance testing on all current and prospective user systems to required standard.
- Reporting and tracking of defects in development packages.
- Provide a point of expert reference on system functionality, correct procedure and document content.
- To liaise with internal and external parties relating to companywide system changes
- Maintain best practise documentation relating to all areas of system testing and to ensure information is communicated to all relevant parties
Education and Qualifications:
- Preferred: ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing
- Minimum 6+ years varied internal business knowledge or compatible experience within testing
