Description
*IT Project Manager - circa £500 per day (inside IR35) - 6 month contract - Leatherhead (once safe expectation is 2 days per week in the office*
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to work on applications projects, most likely a HR project so experience in this area would be an advantage. You will need to be pick up the project that is in flight and drive it through.
Key responsibilities:
- Defining and agreeing project scope, outputs, and timescale, quality and cost criteria to ensure business requirements are understood and agreed.
- Defining and establishing the project structure, roles and teams to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
- Planning, managing, monitoring and reporting on the work of the project and project teams to deliver the outputs to the agreed timescale, quality and cost criteria.
- Ensure projects comply with internal methodology and governance processes.
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable the achievement of project objectives.
- Manage risks and issues effectively and play a pro-active part in problem resolution.
- Effective management and reporting of all project stages to provide structure and control throughout project life cycle including management of entry/exit criteria for each stage.
- Provide leadership to project team to ensure work is progressed to meet agreed requirements and quality criteria in line with project plan.
Required skills and experience:
- Prince 2 or equivalent certification is expected.
- Experience of managing HR Application projects
- Managing interface development experience
- Ability to manage time well and be very organised (stakeholders are time limited)
