Description
Stanton House is representing an AIM listed conglomerate to recruit a Group Accountant on a six-month interim assignment (Inside IR35). This is a complex group in need of a technical accountant to support the Group CFO with driving efficiencies around their financial reporting process.
Responsibilities:
- Consolidate and report the monthly group management accounts, budgets & forecasts, and group statutory accounts. Additionally, there will be a need to drive efficiencies around their consolidation process.
- Produce the group annual report and statutory accounts for the subsidiaries.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and be the go-to person for technical queries.
- Drive process and control improvements across both the group and the subsidiaries
- Involved with ad hoc projects.
To be suitable for this role you must have the following:
- ACA or ACCA qualified with significant post qualified experience.
- Strong background of group consolidation and have examples of where you have driven process improvement around the consolidation process.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS
- Worked for a complex multinational group.
- Be available to start in the next fortnight.
