Digital online Content Manager - Bracknell (50% of time working from home)
12 month contract, £180 per day plus holiday pay (Inside IR35)
Responsibility for online web site content creation to support our clients consumer facing website, supporting the marketing team
- Consumer facing websites on a Pan-European platform
- 16 European markets
- Product launch, campaigns, on-sale and life cycle digital activity
The role will be responsible for an interesting blend of marketing, project management and specialist digital and offline responsibilities, suitable for a driven and knowledgeable individual.
Main Responsibilities:
There are four major responsibilities:
- Management of digital content creation by their Digital agency partners
- Project management of content implementation in each European market
- Management and asset production and ownership of offline brochure creation
- SEO (search engine optimisation) management
General responsibilities include:
- Managing the launch of campaigns across the Pan-European digital platform and aligning to overall marketing strategy
- Planning and generation of new content and assets
- Managing specific digital platform enhancement projects
- Managing the briefing, development & delivery of product content, including photography, brochures, website to support product launch and life cycle activity across 16 markets.
- Proofing new assets and new content to ensure it fits the central product brief and is suitable for the target audience
- Optimisation of mobile and desktop user experience, content and assets to maximise KPIs
- Analysis and reporting of digital channel measurements and testing programmes
- Management of on-site SEO key words, liaison with SEO agency
- Local market liaison, stakeholder management and ongoing operational support
- Ensuring local conformance to digital standards and best practice
- Providing how-to-guides for local marketing teams
- Main contact person for internal Product Planning, Sales & market teams, as well as external for brochure and digital agencies.
- Facilitating the localisation/translation process for brochures and website content.
- Attending photo shoots, acting as the client representative, ensuring assets created are appropriate for the websites
Qualifications, skills and experience required:
Mandatory
- A digital content specialist with experience working with a content management system as an editor, or manager, creative development experience in digital channels
- Project management skills, including experience of managing offline/online marketing collateral, either from a client or agency background
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Self starter, someone who is able to understand business requirements and take action accordingly in a timely manner, with little supervision
- The ability to interrogate ideas/concepts and work with the nominated agency to develop materials for markets to deploy, challenging conventional ways of working where necessary to ensure best practice and time/cost efficiencies
- Ability both to work independently and ensure alignment to objectives
