Overview:

Our Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) team is responsible for protecting Deutsche Bank from financial and reputational losses incurred by financial crimes by assessing, controlling and mitigating risks. Risk types related to Anti-Financial Crime are consolidated in a comprehensive and effective risk management framework that covers Anti-Money-Laundering, Sanctions & Embargoes, Anti-Bribery & Corruption as well as Anti-Fraud & Investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Data Quality Management (DQM) framework
  • Delivering product refinements as part of a SCRUM agile methodology
  • Working with IT and Chief Data Office colleagues to build business data quality rules and dashboards
  • Engaging with Data Stewards and Process Owners to establish data quality requirements linked to business outcomes
  • Driving front to back view of data quality via use of data lineage and meta-data tools
  • Driving cultural change with business data owners to support run the bank (RTB) ownership of Data Quality
  • Supporting business in transition from project to RTB ownership
  • Providing ongoing support on key topics
  • Developing Data Analytics capability to profile data, analyse patterns and root cause of issues efficiently
  • Driving efficiencies in date quality (DQ) issues management working towards a largely automated issue management process
  • Providing Data Domain Owners and stewards with useful data insights and analytics support
  • Providing fast effective root cause analysis and offer effective remediation solutions

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent knowledge of analysis and communication tools ie outstanding Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong global collaborator
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to appropriately partner with colleagues across different areas and locations.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team and virtual working groups
  • Ability to conduct analyses on data sets and present results in a meaningful way
  • Understanding of data quality, data lineage, data profiling and data models
  • Understanding of Data Governance, Quality Management, Modelling, Analytics etc.
  • Substantial experience working on data projects across a variety of technologies and data formats
  • Ability to work with large complex data sets and experience with data analysis and querying tools
  • Experience working in Agile or Scaled Agile teams
  • High proficiency at Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Nice-to-have Python, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), working with data lakes and big data, reporting tools such as Tableau, Qlik etc.
