Description

World Leading Energy Company has an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to help build best in class fundamental market analysis across all geographies and time horizons to underpin decision making for LNG and the voluntary carbon market.

This team aims to improve the data available for trading analytics to support decision making and you will be accountable for ensuring the business vision of data-driven market analysis and operations.

You will:
- Help define the business vision in terms of product KPIs, driving delivery towards optimizing these KPIs, and take accountability for the commercial and technical performance of the product as measured through these KPIs.
- Ensure that business value is delivered each increment by partnering closely with the Product Owner to generate the Product Vision, roadmap, and strategy
- Work closely with a Technical Lead to direct delivery of the product, taking ultimate accountability for ensuring that the product is fit for purpose and functionally sound ("right features at the right time"), applying agile delivery practices
- Proactively manage the formation, evolution and succession planning of the cross-functional product team, collaborating with IT Engineering to build and maintain an effective team with the right skills and behaviors.
- Build a strong culture of collaborative development and engagement with the Product Owner and Product Team to execute relentless prioritization, maintaining focus on value, whilst ensuring secure, reliable and efficient operations for the product, aligned with product roadmap objectives.
- Ensure the product forms a valuable part of the wider environment by ensuring alignment with the wider product teams
- Closely monitor all delivery aspects (Budget/Resources/Stakeholders/Governance) associated to the development and operation of the product. Maintain product investment and delivery hygiene (cost, compliance, IRM/security, and resource management)

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
