Key Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience of leading an RFP process in a global financial services firm
  • Must have knowledge of the Wholesale Credit & Lending Domain
  • Be able to work with business subject matter experts, understand business process and convert to well documented business requirements
  • 5+ years in a Business Analyst role
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Experience working in Commercial banking or Global Banking is essential
  • Project Management qualification, such as PRINCE II or AgilePM (or equivalent experience).

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and relationship building skills
  • Individual must have excellent communication skills be able to support communications with senior stakeholders and bidders.
  • Be able to support with questions from the bidders, analyse and support during the RFP assessment phase.
  • Strong analytical background with a high degree of attention to detail

Overview:

  • The successful candidate will be working with our financial service client who are looking to transform its Wholesale Credit and Lending function by re-thinking its operating model and introducing a set of enhanced capabilities across the lending life cycle to enable business growth, drive efficiencies, reduce RWA, and reduce operational risk.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Ensures key stakeholder roles are represented throughout the development and issuance of the RFP and coordinates stakeholder meetings
  • Manages the requirements gathering process
  • Determines, with the support of SMEs, if thirdparty support should be hired to develop the RFP and coordinates with funding/procurement officials to ensure available funding to support RFI and/or RFP development
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for the vendor(s) to ensure consistent information sharing and response to vendor questions
  • Ensures agency/organization leadership is kept up-to-date on the status of the procurement and any risks that may arise
