Pensions Project Manager - Insurance - Inside IR35.
We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager with Pensions experience in particular Defined Benefits and Guaranteed Minimum Pension (GMP) schemes to join a Large Insurance Organisation on a 5 month contract working remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve project delivery deadlines within scope and budget. Ensure out of scope activity is identified and additional costs managed with the client.
- Drive high quality project governance, risk and issue management.
- Deliver quality updates on programme delivery status to the Client Steering Committee.
- Participation in client Working Groups, calls and technical workshops.
- Co-ordinate internal resources, on and offshore, for the execution of the project delivery plans.
- Identify and efficiently resolve issues identifying solutions which will enable projects to be effectively delivered in accordance with client requirements.
- Creation and tracking of project plans.
- Management of project RAID's.
- Relationship management with clients.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Experience:
- Understanding of occupational pensions in particular Defined Benefits and Guaranteed Minimum Pensions (GMP)
- Understanding of the requirements for GMP Equalisation
- Prince2 experience/qualification preferred
- Proven work experience of delivering technical changes to support Regulatory requirements
- Proven leadership experience in achieving successful project outcomes.
- Ability to lead cross functional teamwork in and across teams and organisations.
