Rate: GBP 300/Day- Inside Ir35

Location: Belfast, UK

Job Designation: Project Manager (Infra)

Role Description

Minimum 3 -5 years' experience managing the multi-phased highly coordinated infrastructure projects with external project dependencies like 3rd party vendors
Demonstrates fundamental understanding of Agile framework principles not limited to Kanban and Agile Scrum
Have understanding and experience with Agile tools preferred - story grooming, tasks management, story burn down, story backlog management
Effectively promotes client satisfaction by ensuring project adheres to stakeholder specifications
Responsible for project completion within determined scope, quality, time and cost constraints
Building and maintaining project plans/milestones
Effective executive level reporting and communication
Vendor management and ability to influence vendor and consultants
Has a background in the infrastructure life cycle process
Demonstrate working experience in a mixed methodology environment when performing various tasks ranging from planning to execution

Scope of work includes:
Candidate must be able to establish and enforce a standard project framework
Candidate must be able to coordinate with infrastructure, facilities and 3rd party resource teams to manage coordinated milestones within short timeframes
Candidate must be able to provide an appropriate line of sight to risks, issues, and areas where team needs decisions and support from leaders at Allstate
Candidate must demonstrate strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
Candidate must have In-depth knowledge and understanding of program needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of business trust and confidence
Candidate must possess the ability to analyze implementation options to meet business needs, including pros/cons of each option and provide recommendations to leadership and implement selection option in easily understood, non-technical terms, with consideration for impacts to related initiatives

Specific delivery accountabilities include:
Candidate must be able to identify and lead problem resolution from identification through resolution.
Engages appropriate resources to resolve problems and identifies contingency plans and alternative solutions as needed
Candidate must be able to lead discussions with SMEs and team members and provide recommendations for resolution of business issues that impact project scope, cost or quality
Candidate must be able to direct implementation of new projects and/or initiatives, including implementation scheduling and sequencing
Candidate must be able to adhere to established project/product management standards for issue and risk management, status communication and close-out activities
Candidate must be able to provide regular reporting on project/product activities, progress against timeline and budget

Education Requirement

  • Applicable Bachelor degree (required)
  • PMP certification plus (not required)
  • Agile Certification preferred (not required)
