World Leading Energy Company has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Crime Internal Auditor (KYC/AML)About the Role:
Completing periodic reviews and updates of existing counterparties in line with policies and procedures
About You:
Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of working experience in KYC/AML areas.
Experience in Tier 1 Financial Institutions (Wholesale, Commercial/Corporate, Investment Banking) and/or large Commodities or Trading Houses (Oil, Energy) would be valuable.
Certifications in AML such as Certified AML Specialist (CAMS), International Association Diploma in Anti Money Laundering or suitable equivalent would be advantageous.
Understanding of
1) high risk jurisdictions and the associated risks;
2) risks of dealing with Politically Exposed Persons; and
3) corporate structures and complex entity structures including SPVs, Trusts, Funds including identification of Ultimate Beneficial Owners.
This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
