Change Manager
Location - Birmingham (remote currently)
Rate - £325/day via PAYE or £417/day Umbrella
Start date - ASAP
Contract - December 2021 (Potential for contract extension)
Our financial services client is currently seeking an experienced Change Manager to join their team in the Birmingham office/remote working.
They are primarily looking for a BA, but that is also able to take on some PM tasks to in effect manage be able to manage themselves or a small workstream.
The successful candidate will understand the cards payment industry, mainly how the payment flows work with 3DS. Have experience working with Cards or on the other hand - Regulatory/PSD2 knowledge would be useful and working on Open Banking programme.
The role holder has most or all of these responsibilities:
- Defining the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments and changes
- Managing delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, communications, budget and risks
- Defining resource needs, responsibilities and schedules
- Working within project controls and procedures
- Working within established quality assurance processes
- Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Reporting progress, issues, dependencies and risks to project leadership and committees (as appropriate) and making recommendations to influence decision making in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realisation
- Providing guidance and maintaining a focus on how the project aligns to wider programme objectives
Knowledge & Qualifications:
- Desirable to have one of more project management qualifications eg Prince2, APMP, Agile, MoP
- Desirable to have knowledge of Business Transformation Framework (BTF2)
- Good level of banking and business knowledge and/or experience
- Proven track record in project and change delivery
- Knowledge of the marketplace, competition and regulatory environments
