World Leading Energy Company has an exciting opportunity for a Internal Communications and Planning Manager which sits within the Central Brand & Comms Team, but supports the entire Aviation Business unit, and plays a pivotal role of driving employee engagement culture, internal communications and Aviation positioning within RDS, as well as leading our marketing effectiveness efforts.

Building on the Aviation agenda and narrative for the business, and within the wider overarching group narrative, the Internal Communications and Planning Manager serves as a strategic business partner and builds collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to strengthen employee engagement and connect employees to business strategy and how they contribute.

The incumbent needs to be masterful at pulling together all relevant business and marketing activities to own the overall Marketing plan which determines both our internal and external communications strategy, ensuring our drumbeat of messaging into the organization and market delivers differentiation for our brand.

The Role:

*Builds collaborative relationships to become the primary, day-to-day business interface regarding the delivery of internal communications within the ALT in Aviation.
*Develops internal communications strategies and plans for Aviation by rigorously applying the IC CoE 8-step model.
*Uses fit-for-purpose resources from the relevant practice areas to execute plans and deliver internal communications products and services.
*Demonstrates knowledge and affinity for groups business priorities.
*Coaches business leaders (VP and GM) to become more effective at employee engagement and dialogue.
*Leverages collaborative relationships with CoB HR, OE, and Strategy for the delivery of improved employee engagement and dialogue in the group.
*Works in partnership with group Marketing colleagues to deliver communications results seamlessly.
*Ensures message consistency, alignment and relevant translation across the group.
*Manage the overall marketing planning process to support a consistent and joined up brand and comms approach connected to global brand plans and aid horizontal connections and sharing of best practice.
*Applies strategic measurement analysis and advice across group and in advising senior leaders.
*Demonstrates budget accountability and good spend stewardship, employing the principles of Demand Management.

Dimensions
*Global scope, to include communications to employees within the global Aviation business.
*Exposure and interaction at high levels of business leadership at EC-1/2.
*Development and management of extended focal point network as needed for the dissemination of messages and execution of activities.
*Budget management of $100k with a SpendWise approach.
*Overall ownership for and coordination of the total annual Marketing plan totaling $5mln, ensuring effective ROI across activities.

The Candidate:

*Senior communications professional with significant experience in developing, managing and executing strategic communications in support of business objectives.
*Preference for strong experience in internal communications, balanced by supporting experience in other disciplines or specialties of communications, marketing or public relations.
*Proven track record in securing the trust of senior leaders and contributing as a strategic business partner, counsellor and adviser, and/or experience in an agency or consultancy as an account director or client-relationship manager.
*Demonstrated ability to deliver successfully through others, influence without authority, build collaborative relationships focused on shared outcomes and maintain a high level of emotional intelligence.
*Proven capabilities to deliver under time pressures and shifting priorities.
*Experience in juggling multiple projects, delegating work, assigning resources, managing budgets and evaluating impacts/ROI.
*Demonstrating strong business acumen quickly and effectively to become a true business partner.
*Experience of change communication efforts (organizational/behavioral), and familiarity with the application of change management methodologies and tools.
*Experience of working within a global team and managing delivery of tasks across different time zones and cultures.
*Working knowledge of Downstream/Sectoral and Decarbonization organization or understanding supply chains would be an advantage.
